America's Potluck

America's Potluck

July 5, 2026

On July 5th, communities across the United States are hosting potluck dinners to embrace community, culture, heritage, and our shared past. Through diverse dishes, these meals will allow neighbors, friends, and families, to pause to reflect on connections, common bonds, and learning from one another. This initiative, created by America 250 Utah, and adopted across the nation, is free and open to all.

Host a Potluck

Have a large space? Know of a cool venue to secure? Want to open the doors to your club? Have a neighborhood park you can rent? Anyone can host their own potluck, and we encourage you to do so! An America's Potluck event can be a closed session for those you know, or a public invitation to allow anyone to attend. Register your event now to appear on the map, and show that North Carolina is participating in this community-building project for the 250th.
