Join us for a free and engaging session on the History of Native American Beading, facilitated by Rebecca Fecher of the Waccamaw People of South Carolina. This session discusses the tradition of beading and the history of wampum in Native American Culture. Wampum as Diplomacy, Native American wampum belts, such as the "Washington Belt" and Haudenosaunee Confederacy's Gayanshagowa and their influence on the founding of America and the American Constitution.
