Historic Bath Locations: 100 S. Harding Street (Main Location), 200 Front Street (Bonner House)
Join us for a day of living history at North Carolina’s first town. As the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War approaches, we often reflect upon the question—When are we American? Explore the everyday lives of the people living in and around Bath, and the choices that were thrust upon them in the years leading up to 1776. We will demonstrate brewing, apothecary skills, spinning yarn out of wool, ropemaking, and processing naval stores and more. This event is part of the "When Are We US" theme of America 250 NC, directed by the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural History.
