Jessi Erikson

Jessi teaches 5th and 6th grade at the Experiential School of Greensboro. She works hard to equip students with the precise vocabulary they need to gain a nuanced understanding of history and works hard each day to ensure her students remember they play a role in creating change.

Jessi is excited to become an America 250 NC Freedom Fellow to broaden her understanding of histories that are often untold and to deepen her understanding of the rich histories throughout the great state of North Carolina. In her spare time, Jessi hikes, exercises, gardens, and collects oddities. She lives with her wonderfully supportive husband and two very spoiled dogs.
