Emily Grogan

Emily Grogan is an English teacher at Watauga High School in Boone. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and believes that all students need an adult who believes in them and cares about them as individuals. She is also passionate about the power of literature to change lives. She loves helping students discover texts that they can connect with and that help them see new perspectives.

Emily is thrilled to be participating in the America 250 Fellowship and is so thankful for the opportunity to learn more about our wonderful state. She is eager to take her knowledge back to her colleagues and students.
