America 250 NC will be at the State Fair! Come visit us at Dorton Arena in the north lobby.
The exhibits we will share with fairgoers include panels from our two traveling exhibits, Forging a Nation and People of NC, as well as a case with a North Carolina soldier in full gear provided by the North Carolina Museum of History! Additionally, a new addition to the American 250 North Carolina arsenal of informative materials is a touch-screen kiosk featuring interactive information on battles, people, and places during the Revolution. We will be highlighting the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge in February 2026 as a part of the First in Freedom Festival.
